Today I was so busy at work.  Yes, at WORK :)
Normally me going to work would not be such a wonder, a surprise, a puzzled look on your face.
However, as we are all aware, ad nauseam, these days are anything but "normal"
Can we all say "Coronavirus"!!

Why am I still going to work, you may ask?  I work at a Jewish outreach center/Synagogue.  The Synagogue is closed of course, but we are still reaching out to the community and helping the needs of the elderly, disabled and anyone who needs a helping hand during these difficult times. Bringing food to the home bound, arranging grocery shopping or just being a listening ear.

In this unprecedented situation that is not only affecting our city/state, but the whole world, I have seen at least one silver lining......Zoom.  I don't know about you, but I had never heard of this program until my daughter told me that she would be staying home and having her classes through Zoom.

After a few days, our synagogue's Rabbi also started using Zoom to have classes and words of inspiration for the congregants; also creating a strange kind of unity.  Even though we were each sitting in our own homes, there was still a sense of community.  I hope after all this Caronavirus is over , they will continue to use Zoom; not in place of , but in addition to public gatherings.

Just my two cents.
